DIY MESH BALLS!
By: Maryam Najeeb
You are doing a math test that your teacher assigned you on MONDAY and you totally forgot to study for it and it’s more than 50% of your grade! You look down to your paper and see a math problem that is like a foreign language to your brain. You start to feel stress, pure stress. Soooooooo this calls for....... MESH BALLS! Mesh balls are balls you squeeze and little bubbles squeeze out of the mesh. GARANTEED that stress will be gone after the first squeeze. But in order to have that in your life, you have to make one!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Mesh
- Some slime (will show how to make some)
- two Balloons
- school glue
- a mixing tool and bowl
- neon food coloring (or any bright paint)
- tide liquid detergent or contact lens solution
Now to start off we’ll make the slime. To make the slime grab your school glue, mixing items, coloring, and the detergent or contact solution.
Step 1) in a bowl add in about have of a school glue bottle
Step 2) add in your coloring and mix until fully combined
Step 3) add in about three tbsp of water
Step 4) add in you activator a few drops at a time to not over activate it (contact solution or detergent)
Step 5) mix until slime still sticky but is sticking off the sides of your mixing bowl and go in with your hands (kind of messy at FIRST) and knead it until not sticky ( you may have to add in a couple more drops of activator) and your done!
Now set the slime aside and take your balloon and try to add in the slime little by little until all the slime is in the balloon. You may have to make more or less slime depending on how much the balloon can fit (make sure not to over fill it). Tie your balloon and measure out a piece of net that would fit the surface of your balloon. Cut the mesh and wrap it around the balloon. Tie it securely with a strong rubber band. Now test it out and your all set to having a stress-free life! Enjoy!
